Here we go again, the congress is not listening to the people. They have some political agenda to gain power and control of American lives. They will pass something unless we do not let them pass this health reform. It is not Health reform it is health control and bankruptcy. Why do we put up with the lying and the bs. We need term limits to change any of this. There is no way after the town meetings and all the people speaking out and the congress still not listening that any thing will ever change. We are stuck unless we are able to get rid of the political ruling class ever so many years and start with a fresh set of citizen representatives that will represent their districs not there own power base. We did this with the President and other elective offices why not the congress. It may take a contitutional ammendment but it is necessary. Here is an outfit than can help. Check out their web site. Term Limits Please, The idiots in congress just continue to not listen to the people. They want the health plan so they can make decisions and continue to have and apply more power from there place and position of power. We have absolutely created a royal class that is no different than the royalty that we distrust and do not like from our background. We fought a war to get the king out of our business and here comes a new form of king and his court. I am truly afraid of what this means in future of America. Most Americans do not understand what is happening. They like the new king and his court gestures. (the major committee chairman, and a few like franken of mn. ). They think they talk good and our for the people who ever they are. If we look at the facts we would be left with the notion that they (congress) are only in it for themselves. Why can we not speak up to this reality. What has happened to the society that my father and mother lived and thrived in. We had one income, took vacations, had dinner that my mother cooked, went to church, did not get into much trouble, respected authority, and respect age, and maturity. We had to wait to buy things and used cash which meant we owned it not the bank and me. The only debt we ever had was our home and that was with a 3.5 interest rate. It now takes 2 salaries, and we have to carry debt just to survive. A run for the senate cost thousands and now it cost on avg $10,000,000.00. Just two serve for a few years in congress. You can not tell me we spend this type of money just to serve. It i s the price of power. Wouldn't you want to keep this JOB. I would. I would do what ever it would take and that is just what they do. The lie, cheat, steal and take money from us and use to there own benefit. Term Limits is the only answer.

Term Limits, Here they go again. They can not sell the HC to us so the just change the name but not the program. Lets call it Coops. A coop is owned by the membership. In the case of the HC Coops OB proposes money will be lent by the Gov to the coop and then who will own the programs. Once again the lie is there is all you have to do is look for it. Term Limits. No need to lie to gain power.

Hi everyone. I am not as upset with gov today. It is rainy and dark. I am tired and the news was not as bad as it has been except for some of the talk shows. I did not send my TV to the river today because FBN effectively took on the idiots who are still using talking points and lies to get us to do the HC of Ob.
Remember: We can not efford to do soc med with out rationing and added expenses. That is the fact. Congress has their own plan and will not do for themselves what they are asking us to do. Why should we. Keep asking questions like, how much, where is the money coming from, what procedures will be cut to fund the rest?. They can only use talking points for so long untill they have to begin to answer the question at some point. Remember. They are only doing this to gain more power for themselves and do not have our best interest at heart. The only axiom you need to know is that politicians always make decesion base on their own self interest. Never on our interest. Term Limits is the only answer before anything of substance will change.

8-13 It happens almost every morning. Some person who has never done a thing in life reads the story of the day as written by some person in the corporate structure that has an agenda to sell for that day. CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and others, all have a well researched and proven hidden motive in their so called news. The first thing I heard on the TV this morning was some idiot panning the bull market. He wants all of us to get in there again so he can sell off the market and make some money. Lets be clear. The market is there for those to make money who are professionals. Remember they make money when the market goes up and they make money when the market goes down. That is what happens in a fee based market. Ask a broker to only make money when you you make money and see how far you get. The early news was once again that those who are against the health care plan age just not Americans. I am so tired of politicians only feathering their nest. Forget about if this passes or not. The political gains if it passes are huge for those who are elected. They will have more power over your health care than you wife does now. They well be able to decide what services will be offered based on what will get the best bang for the dollar. There is no chance that we can offer the type of health care that is in Canada (by the way I would not want to be treated in Canada if I were sick because of the rationing of care for the elderly) and not reduce the current coverages available and not increase tax or user fees or whatever. The only reason that I can come up with as to why there is so much lying going on by the politicians is that they must have a very big personal agenda to get this passed with out any interest in the people. If my thesis is correct then anything that is said regarding the HC changes is not motivated by any altruistic value but is routed in the very basic of all motivations, that is, greed and the search for power. The syllogism would go like this.,:
Politicians are motivated by greed.
Politicians want the Health Care changes
Politicians want the Health Care changes base on personnel greed.

Further, one component of greed is dishonesty. Honesty being less desirable than Greed then they would employ dishonesty before honesty to obtain complete there greed motivation.

Therefore: this would then be the bases for the all actions of politicians. I think with behavior such as with Amy Klobechar and especially this idiot Franken from Minnesota who by the way was only elected by 40 percent of the votes cast.

She sits on the same committees as every other senator and is told what to do by the same powerful old long elected senators. Nothing will change with here. She endorsed Franken as well. If that is working for change I will eat my hat. He is a political hack pure and simple. He has not ideas of his own. He was sent back to Minnesota with National money to run for senate in a state that may change their senator and a state that would be split by a strong independent vote. Franken did not when anything. He just got more votes than the second place. Not even a close majority of more that 50 percent.

Well another day and more reason to get rid off all the sitting congressman and the current President. I heard more lies today the you can shake a stick at. On Fox the white house decided to attack the anchor rather than answer difficult questions. Megan Kelly held her own with a WH communications director who just had nothing to say just a rant about the press and the spin the press is putting on the Heath Care Programs of OB. He attacked her and did not answer the questions. This congress does not want to nor do they feel they have to answer questions put to them by the people. That is why there is such a problem with the town hall meetings this break. If the congressmen would answer the questions instead of attempting to avoid them and shove their own political agenda down their throat. Their arrogance is one of the main reasons for the need for term limits. These legislators have only one purpose and that is to get reelected. They do not care what they have to say to get elected. In my state a great example of this was AC our senior senator was ordered by the WH and the OB staff to let Minnesota know that the science on Global Warming is in and the facts are not disputable. Are you kidding me. I wonder what that bought her. I actually like AC. I just can not stand here politics and the lies she spreads under the powerful mantel of US Senator. She only wants to get reelected. We need Term Limits. I don't care if it is a Rep or Demo. I don't care if it is an Ind. We need to routinely have new blood in congress. The largest lobby in DC is the lobby of get reelected. The rant about big business and big oil and unions is so much about nothing. The problems would be solved about lobbies if we had term limits. No body would have the ability to own a congressman, senator etc. We have term limits for the President for good reason why not congress.

Me and Term Limits.
First post 8-11-09. I will be 63 8-16 and it is time I let the world know just what I am thinking on a given day. Today I am building a new home after a fire took our complete home of 38 years last Aug 3rd. The insurance is completed and we have moved into our new home. We rebuilt on the same property. We overlook the Mississippi River at its head waters. Besides building this home I have been very concerned about what is happening in our Government. I can not believe on a given day the lies, political speak, the misinformation and the general lack of any credibility that oozes from the mouths of the politicians that we put in office. I am become emotionally disturbed when I listen to Obama or one of his liars. I mean I almost have a fit. I get mad at the TV. I have more than onetime threatened to through the TV in the river. Nothing can be believed. Therefore I have as of today come to the conclusion that the only answer in congress is to through all of them out. Republicans and Democrats. Nothing is going to change unless we do this. Then we need term limits to not ever let this happen again. Take a good look at what is happening with congress over the past 40 years. Democrats ran congress like there own store untill the Reagon years and Newts Contract with America. Then what happened. The Republicans became power mad and lost both houses as fast as they won them. They were just as bad as the Democrats. Now what. We are back to the other guys. And guess what they are acting like drunken sailers after 6 months at sea. 1 trillion dollars. 1.5 trillion dollars. 2 trillion dollars. Nobody can even begin to understand how much money that is.
