Term LImits

It is election time and it is time to elect those who will vote for and or self regulate a term limit. Hamilton and Jefferson were very clear on their opions on a professional class of polititians. Do not pay them well. Make sure the have to return to their communitites on a regular basis. Do not let them get there hands on the countrys treasury. They not take long to understand that if they have the power to devy out the treasury that will give them power manipulate the treasurey to their own interest. Hamilton and Jefferson both spoke of the nature of man. That if you give him that much access to money and power he will become corrupt even if he or she does not want to. We have forgot that the nature of man altimately rules our lives. We need to not just blindly believe. We need to vote with the understanding that even if you can not see it, as with Clinton and others, the long term politicians is corupt by his nature. Especially those who have been in the congress for a period of time. Remember if you vote for anything other than term limited canidates you are voting to keep thins as they are and you are telling the corupt politicians that is all he she has to do is to keep lying to you and you will believe.

I have been reading the Fed Pap lately and I am amazed at the timeliness of the writings of over 200 years ago. I am amazed at the comparisons that can be made between the king and our current congress. The loss of power to the people etc. Jefferson and Hamilton both agree that the qualities we want in our elected people are as follows: 1. No person should be paid a salary to govern; this is what happened in feudal England. 2. No person should be elected and be ab le to stay in congress and become a professional politician. This leads to only represent themselves not the person elected them and leads to decision making that enables their reelection not the best decision for the country. 3. No person should be elected who has done nothing. Not run a business, raised a family, run a farm etc. 4. All should have a since of value and a commitment to America not a narrow focus. Term limits should be imposed if the congress will not limit themselves.

Here we are today with professional politicians who only want to maintain their power base. They have no interest in the country as a whole only in making money and maintaining power that they can then use to keep them in office. Jefferson points out that we are unable to fix politiacal problems when government gets to complicated. That the Dukes and Counts have the ability to continue to hide in the wings outside of the view of the public. Therefore government is dume to failure as a republic if the operation of the gov gets to complicated. IE the irs, Dept of education, pentagon, etc.

Lets vote all out and look at term limits as means to protecting the republic.

Here we go again, the congress is not listening to the people. They have some political agenda to gain power and control of American lives. They will pass something unless we do not let them pass this health reform. It is not Health reform it is health control and bankruptcy. Why do we put up with the lying and the bs. We need term limits to change any of this. There is no way after the town meetings and all the people speaking out and the congress still not listening that any thing will ever change. We are stuck unless we are able to get rid of the political ruling class ever so many years and start with a fresh set of citizen representatives that will represent their districs not there own power base. Term Limits Please, The idiots in congress just continue to not listen to the people. They want the health plan so they can make decisions and continue to have and apply more power from there place and position of power. We have absolutely created a royal class that is no different than the royalty that we distrust and do not like from our background. We fought a war to get the king out of our business and here comes a new form of king and his court. I am truly afraid of what this means in future of America. Most Americans do not understand what is happening. They like the new king and his court gestures. (the major committee chairman, and a few like franken of mn. ). They think they talk good and our for the people who ever they are. If we look at the facts we would be left with the notion that they (congress) are only in it for themselves. Why can we not speak up to this reality. What has happened to the society that my father and mother lived and thrived in. We had one income, took vacations, had dinner that my mother cooked, went to church, did not get into much trouble, respected authority, and respect age, and maturity. We had to wait to buy things and used cash which meant we owned it not the bank and me. The only debt we ever had was our home and that was with a 3.5 interest rate. It now takes 2 salaries, and we have to carry debt just to survive. A run for the senate cost thousands and now it cost on avg $10,000,000.00. Just two serve for a few years in congress. You can not tell me we spend this type of money just to serve. It i s the price of power. Wouldn't you want to keep this JOB. I would. I would do what ever it would take and that is just what they do. The lie, cheat, steal and take money from us and use to there own benefit. Term Limits is the only answer.

Term Limits, Here they go again. They can not sell the HC to us so the just change the name but not the program. Lets call it Coops. A coop is owned by the membership. In the case of the HC Coops OB proposes money will be lent by the Gov to the coop and then who will own the programs. Once again the lie is there is all you have to do is look for it. Term Limits. No need to lie to gain power.

Hi everyone. I am not as upset with gov today. It is rainy and dark. I am tired and the news was not as bad as it has been except for some of the talk shows. I did not send my TV to the river today because FBN effectively took on the idiots who are still using talking points and lies to get us to do the HC of Ob.
Remember: We can not efford to do soc med with out rationing and added expenses. That is the fact. Congress has their own plan and will not do for themselves what they are asking us to do. Why should we. Keep asking questions like, how much, where is the money coming from, what procedures will be cut to fund the rest?. They can only use talking points for so long untill they have to begin to answer the question at some point. Remember. They are only doing this to gain more power for themselves and do not have our best interest at heart. The only axiom you need to know is that politicians always make decesion base on their own self interest. Never on our interest. Term Limits is the only answer before anything of substance will change.
